Refund and Returns Policy – Kathait Gold

At Kathait Gold (a brand of Upfront Enterprise), we take pride in offering pure, authentic, and high-quality products. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we follow a transparent Return & Refund Policy in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable international standards.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Food Products (Flour, Spices, Oils): Due to hygiene, food safety, and FSSAI regulations, we do not accept returns once the package is opened. Returns are only accepted if:
    • The product is damaged during transit.
    • The product is defective or expired at the time of delivery.
    • You received the wrong item.
  • Non-Food Products (Cosmetics, FMCG, Household items): Returns are accepted if the product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

2. Timeframe for Returns

  • Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • Products reported after this period will not be eligible.

3. Process for Returns

  1. Contact us via support@kathaitgold.com or call +91 135 4511541 within 7 days of receiving the product.
  2. Provide order details, photos, and reason for return.
  3. Once approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup (where serviceable) or request you to ship the product back.
  4. Returned items will be inspected before approval.

4. Refunds

  • If approved, refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (bank account, card, UPI, wallet).
  • In case of Cash on Delivery orders, refund will be processed via bank transfer/UPI after verification.

5. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

  • Opened/used food products.
  • Items without original packaging or tampered labels.
  • Discounted or clearance items (unless defective).

6. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only.
  • If already shipped, the order cannot be cancelled but may be eligible for return (as per above conditions).

7. Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are allowed only for defective or incorrect items.
  • Replacement will be shipped once the returned product is received and verified.
